Why breastfeeding is very important for newborn babies

Breastfeeding is the champion when it comes to feeding newborn babies. Many mothers decide not to use this feeding method for their children, for certain reasons, without knowing the damages this causes to their babies. Breastfeeding is the best food for the baby’s digestive system. It also contains all the natural nutrition that the baby’s body needs to grow healthy.

The breast milk contains proteins and fats that are easily digested by the baby’s digestive system. It also contains antibodies, elements that prevent the baby’s body from being infected by diseases and infections.

Breastfeeding also comes with benefits for mothers. The process burns calories and shrinks the uterus, and this is why mothers that breastfeed their babies get in their normal shape quicker. This process is also very emotional and helpful for the creation of a strong bond between the mother and the baby. The skin-to-skin touch is a wonderful thing that gives pleasure to the mother and also to the baby. It increases the dopamine and the happiness level of mothers, in overall.

Mothers have to take care of their newborn babies when feeding them with other products. For example, studies have shown that products like honey and egg white. Honey is a very valuable and important nutrition for everyone, but it plays a damaging role in babies’ health, especially to babies less than 1 year old. Honey contains dangerous bacteria known as the Clostridium botulinum which has the possibility to multiply in the baby’s intestine. The digesting system of newborn babies cannot digest these bacteria.

Egg white has also been considered dangerous for newborn babies because it can cause allergic reactions to their body. If you want to feed your baby with eggs, remove the egg white part and cook only the yellow part.
